DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME ENDED the morning of November 6, 2011 at 2 am. Remember when daylight saving time is not in effect, the shooting hours close at sunset or the posted hour whichever is earlier. Night or low-light shooting is NOT permitted during Daylight Saving time and only when/if approved by the Executive Committee in advance.
Nominations for Elective Offices opend at the October 25, 2011 meeting and will close at the meeting on November 6, 2011. Doug Villers was nominated for the office of Sergeant-at-Arms and Ed Herner was nominated for the office of Rangemaster. If nominations for elective offices remain unchanged or if there is only one nomination for a particular office, election by acclaimation is possible at the November meeting. Membership Dues for the 2012 calendar year will be decided at the member meeting on November 8, 2011. Renewal notices will be mailed with the newsletter in late November/early December, 2011. Renewal forms and new-member applications will be available at the range office and on the "FAQ" and "Members Only" pages of this site after the vote. New members must visit the range for a safety briefing and range orientation and apply for membership with the Rangemaster in person.
